Our Team
Evan has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, including 12 years of private equity in the Philippines. He managed over USD 1 billion in Philippine transactions over the past decade.
Prior to founding SofCap Partners, he served several executive functions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of KGL Investments Asia, Chief Investment Officer of Clark Global City, and Director of Negros Navigation Co. He also co-founded and held several management positions for Global Gateway Development Corporation.
He earned his MBA degree from the Executive MBA Program of Kellogg School of Management / Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Management from Case Western Reserve University (summa cum laude).
Karen has over 14 years of experience in legal services and government. Prior to joining SofCap, she served as Undersecretary for the Presidential Management Staff, Undersecretary for the Department of Public Works and Highways, Legal Counsel for the Senate Ethics Committee of the 17th Congress of the Philippines, and Program Host and News Anchor for CNN Philippines.
She holds a degree in Master of Development Practice certified in Engineering & Business for Sustainability from UC Berkeley (where she was a Fulbright Scholar), a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Asia & the Pacific. She is licensed to practice law in the Philippines and in New York.
Allan has over 11 years of experience in development banking, private equity, and corporate finance. Prior to SofCap, he served as the Chief Finance Officer of GCash, a leading mobile money provider, as well as various roles in the Development Bank of the Philippines and KGL Investment Company Asia.
Allan has a Management Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila University and is a CFA charterholder.
Stanley has over 5 years of experience in investment management and research. Prior to joining SofCap, he was a Structurer at Metrobank, responsible for pricing derivatives and structured investment products. He had previously held an Investment Research position at Metrobank Trust and a Marketing Associate role at Bank of Singapore Limited.
He holds a Management Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.
Ken has over 3 years of experience in investment research and asset management. Prior to joining SofCap, he was a Senior Analyst at ATR Asset Management, responsible for the coverage of the Telecommunications, Power & Utilities, and Logistics sectors.
He holds a Management Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.
France is a recent graduate with combined internship and full-time experience in investments, research, asset management, and operations. Prior to joining SofCap, she worked as an Investments and Asset Management Analyst for ARCH Capital Management, a regional real estate private equity firm based in the Asia Pacific.
She holds a Management Engineering degree from Ateneo de Manila University with a Minor in Theater Arts.
Jego is a recent graduate with internship experience at Regis Partners, supporting the Equity Sales and Research teams. His primary exposure was in the Power & Utilities Sector, covering a renewable energy company pre-IPO.
He holds a Management Engineering degree (cum laude) from the Ateneo De Manila University.
